The Paragon

A review of the Amaranth Case from Paragon Pieces | kylasalonga

If you're a follower on Instagram, recently I posted a photo thanking Alexa Ilacad and Paragon Pieces for a case because I won on a giveaway.

A quick storytime:
Alexa ilacad is a Filipino artist who has a YouTube channel. As an avid fan of YouTubers (people who make videos on YouTube), I often watch her videos about beauty for the reason that I want to learn more about make-ups and stuff and her channel is all about that.

In one of her videos, she had a giveaway in partnership with Paragon Pieces which happens to be one of my favorite brands when it comes to quality iPhone cases.

Well, I don't want to waste a chance of getting free stuff so I joined right away. Plus, the mechanics aren't too complicated to do.

Here's my entry to the giveaway:

Until one day right after the giveaway ended, I received a DM (Direct Message) from Alexa on Instagram and read the text saying I've won the giveaway.

It took it for quite two weeks when the case finally arrived here in my house. But, I tell you, it's worth the wait.

So going back to the review, a few information I need to say is that this is the first case I got from Paragon Pieces. Paragon Pieces do ship worldwide and they have their own site and Instagram account in case you want to check them out.

I got the Amaranth Case for my iPhone 6s. The type of this case is the Snap type and has a matte coating. And what I like more about this type of case is that the design reached to the sides of the case which kind of resembles a 3D type.

I've been eyeing marble cases since they look so minimal, simple but elegant which I like most. The pink-ish part is like a unique touch of the Amaranth and also matches my phone's Rose Gold color.

The case is slim, lightweight and fits perfectly for my phone. It doesn't give much protection [because it doesn't cover the top and bottom sides of the phone] compared to other cases, nevertheless it makes your phone more attractive and pretty to look at.

Personal thoughts:
I'm impressed. I know it's pretty expensive but the quality of the case doesn't feel cheap at all.

The only downside I noticed so far is that the design of the case fades easily. Maybe just because my hands are too sweaty most of the time which affects the color of the case. However, I read on their FAQs to keep the case away from contact with nail polish remover and varnish because it might cause the design of the case to fade.

Overall, this case is a piece of beauty and seeing my iPhone wearing this case makes me fall in love with it more. I will definitely get another case from Paragon Pieces anytime in the future (I've been craving for their silicone cases and their Trigazzy Collection and Solar Case). I will probably get an armored case next time.

Lastly, thank you so much Alexa Ilacad for making one of my wishes on my "wishlist" come true. I can't thank you enough, Alexa and also to Paragon Pieces for continuously producing quality cases.
