Bullet Journal Monthly Spread: January 2018

I know this January setup is super late because I'm still a bit hesitant if I am going to post this but I did anyway. I would like to thank you for all the love you have given to my 2018 Bullet Journal Setup for it got over a thousand views in less than a week and I am really grateful and happy for that!

My January theme is Stars and Mountains. It is greatly inspired by the Night Court in the A Court of Thorns and Roses Series by Sarah J. Maas and I really love how it turned out.

I actually don't have a calligraphy brush pen with gold ink hence I figured out I should just make a fake Calligraphy with my Sharpie Gold Metallic pen and I think it worked well.

Quote of the Month

I chose this quote of the month not only because of its message but it also fits with the theme of trees, mountains and forest. This quote reminds me to not pressure myself too much in doing greater things and to cherish what I have today.

Mood Tracker

To be honest, this is the page that took me the longest to think of an idea of how I'm going to write it in and would still fit with the theme. I guess my lightbulb turned into a firework when I thought of constellations. I scattered a number of 1-31 on the page which represents the days of the month. Then, I connected those numbers using broken lines to keep track of where is a specific day.

Still with the stars and mountains theme, each day, I would draw stars with varying colors that correspond to my mood that certain date: Gold for happy, Silver for Neutral, and Black for Sad. And at the very bottom of the page, I added mountains and the Key for the colors I'm using. I'm still getting a hang of it and I can't wait to see how many Gold stars will there be at the end of the month!

Daily Savings

This is probably the most embarrassing page of this Journal. Yep, I haven't been able to earn money because I love food ❤️ But on this page, I made two columns, one for the date and the other is the amount of money that was left unspent on that corresponding day. And so far, I am not doing well with money saving.

Random Thoughts

Pretty explanatory. A place for those thoughts left unwritten and thoughts that stayed.

So far, what I've written here are a quote from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and about Saturn Returns on which I learned from lang Leav's Sad Girls book.

Daily Journal

My setup for every date is flexible. I try not to put a specific size for each day because each day is different, one can be busy and the next can just be a boring day. Basically, the days of the week also served as dividers of each day. I try to make it as minimal as possible at the moment, not much doodles and just a few pictures since I'm just starting out. 

I did blur some of the personal notes on all of the days because there are things better kept than shared. 😊

So here is my January 2018 Bullet Journal Setup. I know there's nothing much to it. I try to make it minimal and not too crowded as possible. But, I still hope you like it.
